What you
will experience
Led by our trusted long-time guide Thilo Schmied, this extensive more-than-3h-long visit will discover you the former and current studio parts in the Hansa Musikhaus, like Studio One and former Studios Two and Three (now, the Meistersaal and Emil Berliner Studios).
During the guided tour, you will:
- Get to know the history of Hansa Studios and the Hansa Musikhaus
- Visit and attend a presentation in the famous Meistersaal
- Discover Emil Berliner’s analogue recording techniques and systems.
- Explore original recording spaces and control rooms
- Learn how landmark albums were produced
- Hear behind-the-scenes stories from Berlin’s music history
Due to recording sessions and events, Berlin Music Tours cannot guarantee all the visits to see all the relevant parts of the Hansa Musikhaus, as productions have, of course, always priority.
